Week 6: Paris Fashion Week | Ages 6-12 Step onto the high-fashion runways of France where art, style, and couture design collide! Our final week of camp is an upscale celebration of personal style and runway-ready creations, focusing on the chic details, bold textures, and brilliant colors of the Paris fashion scene. The Signature Masterpiece Fashion Sketchbook Mixed-Media Canvas The heart of the week is our a stunning fashion sketchbook canvas. This project uses multi-session layering to bring a couture scene to life. Artists will: • Master India Ink Illustrations: Sketch and paint beautiful high-fashion icons, landmark structures, and stylized Parisian elements. • Architect the Runway Background: Learn to design, paint, and layer vibrant background washes using bold patterns and eye-catching textures. • Mixed-Media Collage Composition: Piece together a dynamic canvas display, using fabrics, trimming, and custom cutouts to give their fashion diva dimensional flair. Creative Supporting Projects While the runway collection grows, we will dive into two additional high-style fashion house creations: • Mannequin Head Styling Craft: Artists will step into the role of head stylist, transforming a three-dimensional mannequin head into an over-the-top fashion diva using colorful hair-styling materials, metallic accents, and sparkling glasses. • Paris Design Studio Custom Makeup Bag: Artists will use acrylics to paint and custom personalized pouch, completing the luxury look with a handmade bag charm. Celebrate at the Mini Art Show On Thursday, we invite parents to our Exclusive Mini Art Show at pick-up. Your young designer will curate their own Parisian gallery, showcase their custom accessories, and introduce you to the stunning fashion divas they have created. It is the perfect, glamorous finale to an incredible summer of art! Cancellation Policy
🔵Participation All classes are drop-off only 🔵Food Guidelines Please only send NUT FREE ONLY snacks with your campers. 🔵What to Bring Pack snacks and water bottle for your camper each day. (NUT FREE ONLY) 🔵What to Wear Dress for mess! Campers should wear comfy play clothes that can handle paint, glue, and colorful creativity. Some art materials may stain and that just means great art was made 🙂 🔵Class Supplies All Supplies are provided. 🔵Arrival Drop-off begins 12:45PM, camp activity starts at 1PM. We kindly ask that campers arrive on time so we can start our our day smoothly. If you're running late, please send us a quick message. 🔵Pickup A 10-minute grace period will be allowed. After that, a $1 per minute late fee will apply. Please reach out as soon as possible if there's an emergency. 🟠Enrollment • A completed Student Intake, Liability Waiver & Media Release Form is required at the checkout. 🟠Waitlist • If the camp you're interested in is full. Please fill out the waitlist form, when someone cancels or reschedules, people on the waitlist are notified in order. • Filling out the waitlist form doesn't guarantee a spot. https://www.artycritters.com/waitlist 🔴Missed time • No make-up time will be offered for camp. 🔴Summer Camp Refund Policy •Minimum 4 sign-ups required for each workshop to run. Workshop will be canceled and a full refund will be issued if fewer than 4 sign-ups. • Cancellations made more than 4 weeks before camp are eligible for a full refund (minus $35 cancellation fee) • Cancellations made within 4 weeks of camp start date, you will receive a refund (minus $35 cancellation fee) only if your spot can be filled. • Cancellations made within 1 week of camp start date, you are responsible for finding someone to take your spot and handling payment directly with the family replacing you. No refund will be issued from the studio. • No refunds for no-shows or missed hours. • Make-ups will not be offered for summer camp. • All cancellations must be submitted by email to hi@artycritters.com
