Forest Friends Tree House | Ages 6-12 Does your child love tiny worlds, cozy cottages, and the secret lives of adorable woodland creatures? Forest Friends is the art camp that brings that magic to life- with paint, sculpture, and a whole lot of imagination. The Signature Masterpiece The 2-Story Papier-Mâché Treehouse The heart of the week is our Grand Build- an ambitious engineering and art project where artists build a two-story tree trunk home from the ground up. Over four sessions, artists will: •Architect & Build: Construct a sturdy, 20-inch tall tree trunk frame using real cardboard armatures. •Sculpt & Layer: Apply traditional papier-mâché to create a "real-feel" organic structure. •Artistic Detail: Use dry-brushing techniques to paint realistic bark textures on the exterior. •Interior Design: Become a mini-decorator, custom-painting wallpaper and crafting handmade furniture- from tiny ladders to custom accessories- to make the house a one-of-a-kind home. The Creative Supporting Projects Beyond the main build, campers will explore the forest through additional creative projects. Your little artists will go home with a bundle of creations they are proud of. Celebrate at the Mini Art Show On Thursday, we invite parents to arrive at 3:45 PM for our Exclusive Mini Art Show. Watch your child’s confidence soar as they curate their display and walk you through their creative process. It’s the perfect celebration to end the week on a high note!
Cancellation Policy
🔵Participation All classes are drop-off only 🔵Food Guidelines Please only send NUT FREE ONLY snacks with your campers. 🔵What to Bring Pack snacks and water bottle for your camper each day. (NUT FREE ONLY) 🔵What to Wear Dress for mess! Campers should wear comfy play clothes that can handle paint, glue, and colorful creativity. Some art materials may stain and that just means great art was made 🙂 🔵Class Supplies All Supplies are provided. 🔵Arrival Drop-off begins 12:45PM, camp activity starts at 1PM. We kindly ask that campers arrive on time so we can start our our day smoothly. If you're running late, please send us a quick message. 🔵Pickup A 10-minute grace period will be allowed. After that, a $1 per minute late fee will apply. Please reach out as soon as possible if there's an emergency. 🟠Enrollment • A completed Student Intake, Liability Waiver & Media Release Form is required at the checkout. 🟠Waitlist • If the camp you're interested in is full. Please fill out the waitlist form, when someone cancels or reschedules, people on the waitlist are notified in order. • Filling out the waitlist form doesn't guarantee a spot. https://www.artycritters.com/waitlist 🔴Missed time • No make-up time will be offered for camp. 🔴Summer Camp Refund Policy •Minimum 4 sign-ups required for each workshop to run. Workshop will be canceled and a full refund will be issued if fewer than 4 sign-ups. • Cancellations made more than 4 weeks before camp are eligible for a full refund (minus $35 cancellation fee) • Cancellations made within 4 weeks of camp start date, you will receive a refund (minus $35 cancellation fee) only if your spot can be filled. • Cancellations made within 1 week of camp start date, you are responsible for finding someone to take your spot and handling payment directly with the family replacing you. No refund will be issued from the studio. • No refunds for no-shows or missed hours. • Make-ups will not be offered for summer camp. • All cancellations must be submitted by email to hi@artycritters.com
